Acupuncture treats pain without drugs

Treatments with hair-thin acupuncture needles can provide relief and healing for recent injuries as well as addressing the root of chronic pain.

Acupuncture supports emotional balance

These treatments promote gentle, profound stress relief, improved sleep, resilience in times of change or difficulty, and trauma-informed care for mental and emotional health.

acupuncture benefits whole body health

By choosing specific acupuncture points, treatments can help your body better regulate its rhythms and organ systems, from digestion to cardio-pulmonary to hormonal, and more.

this medicine has classical roots

We are indebted to generations of East Asian healers and scientists who developed and refined these healing technologies over thousands of years. This Classical medicine continues to evolve through the work of modern scholars and practitioners, and we strive to keep at the cutting edge of learning as the practice advances.

Acupuncture uses many methods to bring about change in the body. This medicine works by bringing movement where there is stagnation, stimulating warmth where there is cold, bringing circulation where it has been lacking…

Cupping, therapeutic bodywork, topical herbs, as well as hair-thin acupuncture needles may all be used to promote healing.

many tools of the practice:

  • Acupuncture

Fine, sterile, disposable needles provide precision stimulation to points located across the body.

  • Moxabustion

This herbal medicine is in the Artemisia family- a cousin to sage. It is burned close to the body to warm and activate.

  • Tuina

Medical bodywork based on the same understanding of anatomy as the acupuncture points and using hand techniques to create flow in the body.

  • Gua Sha

A technique used by Asian grannies around the world, this uses tools to scrape the skin’s surface to release trapped stagnation or heat.

  • Cupping

A technique using suction on the skin to reach deep layers of muscle to ease tension and break up adhesions.

  • electro-acupuncture

Micro-currents are used to enhance the action of acupuncture needles.

  • qigong

A practice of breathing and movements that is therapeutic and balancing to the core.

  • micro-needling

Used for rejuvenation for cosmetic and neurological facial conditions.
